Integration of Contemporary Sports Disciplines: Students’ Aspects

Student Symposium

It is a great pleasure to invite the undergraduate students in Europe and the World to the “Student Symposium” to be held during the 11th ICHPER•SD Europe Regional Congress and Exposition on April 22-24th, 2009 in Lara, Antalya, Turkiye. The Main theme of the symposium is "Integration of Contemporary Sports Disciplines: Students’ Aspects”. This symposium is organized by ICHPER•SD Europe Region and Istanbul University, and is also supported by the ICHPER•SD and Sport Sciences Association, Türkiye.

We hope that this symposium may provide cooperation among the students from different countries willing to improve their knowledge and experiences, and may present them different horizons regarding to their future interest areas. We are excited for the opportunity to meet students from various countries in intimate ambiance of Antalya, with its many historical and nature beauties. Therefore, the Organizing and Scientific Committee invite the undergraduate students studying in sports sciences to join this Symposium, and submit abstracts, either for verbal or poster presentation.

Abstract Submission Deadline for the students: February 28, 2009.

Guidelines for abstracts

1. The deadline for abstracts submission (for verbal and poster communications) is February 28, 2009.
2. The presenting author, which were accepted for presentation, should be registered to the congress.
The presenting author of accepted presentations has to register.
3. Abstracts have to be submitted online only in English via the Abstract Submission System on Webside. No hardcopy submissions will be considered.
4. Abstracts are limited to max. 300 words and 3000 characters.
5. The subtitles of the abstract should be in the order of
   “Aims”,
   “ Materials and Methods”,
   “Results”,
   “Conclusion”, and “Key Words”. The abstracts may only have 2-4 key words.
