 About Antalya

Antalya is situated on the Turkish Riviera and known as the tourism capital of Turkey.
Antalya itself, as well as the nearby touristic centers of Kemer, Beldibi, Belek, Side and Alanya ara filled with tourists every season of the year.

 

 

Antalya is a charming city with many coves, forests and harbors. The city is set between the pine clad Taurus Mountains and the bright blue Meditterranean Sea. The region is sunny about 300 days a year. Not only the blue coasts of the city but also the old town is very famous.

 

 

 

 

Antalya has been founded in 2 nd Century BC by Attalus II, the king of Pergamum and since then the city has been continuously inhabited. Romans, Byzantines, Seljuk Turks and Ottomans have occupied the cityAntalya has a great deal to offer to those who are interested in history.

 

 

The ancient city walls, Hadrian's Gate, Kesik Minaret Mosque and Murat Pahsa Mosque are located in the city. Ancient cities around Antalya like Termessos, Aspendos and Perge may also be visited.

 

 

Antalya also offers many water sport sunbathing and swimming activities. You may also discover an unforgettable landscape of olive and citrus trees, pine forests and the Mediterranean Coast.
