Mediterranean Congress of PRM will be held in
the Dedeman Hotel - located at Antalya / Turkey
from Thursday, September 30 up to and including
Monday October 04, 2004.
Located in the modern business district of Antalya,
the hotel is designed to meet the standards of
the world's most modern facilities. |

| Registration
fees and all other payments are to be made in
EURO. Registration fees should be made either
by a bank transfer to the following account number
or by credit cards (Visa & Master)

| Congress Language |
The
official language of the Congress will be English.
Simultaneous translation to Turkish will be provided
in certain sessions. |

conference exhibition with participation of international
and local companies will be organized to provide
congress participants with an up-to-date survey
of the recent developments. |
| Sponsorship |
5th
Mediterranean Congress of PRM will be realized
by valuable financial contributions of various
international and national scientific organizations
and companies. All sponsors will be announced
in the Final Program. |
| Program Changes |
| The organizers
cannot assume liability for any changes in the program
due to external or unforeseen circumstances. |

Attendance Certificate |
| The Attendance
Certificates will be distributed to the participants
from the Information Desk at the congress venue
on October 3, 2004. |
| Coffee Breaks
|
During
session breaks coffee and tea will be served free
of charge to delegates wearing their badges. |
| Lunch |
Lunch
is included in registration fee and served as
lunch box. |
| Invitation Letters |
The
Congress Secretariat will send you a letter of
invitation upon request. It should be understood
that this letter is only to help delegates to
raise travel funds or to obtain a visa and is
not a commitment on the part of the organizers
to provide any financial support. |
Applications
for a letter of invitation should be received
by the Congress Secretariat before june 30, 2004.
As the Turkish embassies in foreign countries
only accept original letters, the Congress Secretariat
will NOT be able to send you a letter of invitation
by fax or e-mail. |
Please
take this into consideration. Applications received
after june 30, 2004 will not be dealt with. Refunds
will not be made because visa applications are
not granted. |
| Insurance |
In
registering for the 5th Mediterranean Congress
of PRM, delegates agree that neither the organizing
committee nor the congress bureau assume any liability
whatsoever. |
Delegates
are requested to make their own arrangements in
respect to health and travel insurance. |

| Health and Security |
No
particular health prevention measures required
in Antalya and most tourist destinations (Istanbul,
Antalya, Cappadocia, Izmir, Ankara). Antalya is
a safe city. |
| Electricity |
The
standard voltage in Turkey is 220 volts. with
a frequency of 50 Hz. |
| Climate |
The
climate in Antalya in Sep./Oct. is usually warm
with occasional showers and a temperature around
20°C (73°F). |
| Local Time |
Turkish
time is GMT +2. |
| Visas |
Citizens
of most Western European Countries do not need
visa, Since visa procedures changes from country
to country, it is advisable to get in touch with
the Turkish Embassy to find out if you will be
requiring a visa. |
| Foreign Language
Newspapers |
All
kinds foreign newspapers are available in most
hotels and the major kiosks and usually daily. |
| Currency
and Exchange |
The
currency unit is the Turkish Lira (represented
in letters TL) Convertible foreign currency may
exchanged at the airport, in hotels and all banks
in the city as well as exchange offices at the
current daily exchange rates. US Dollar and Euro
are accepted best. Other currencies may have unfavorable
exchange rates. All major credit cards (VISA,
MASTER, EURO, AMEX, DINNERS etc.) are accepted
in most hotels, shops and restaurants. |
| Custom Regulation |
All
personal belongings may be imported freely into
the country. Important, use, and trade of narcotics
are illegal. Duty free allowance is limited to
600 cigarettes and 2 liters of alcohol. |
| Shopping |
Antalya
is a shopper's paradise for carpets, leather goods,
gold bargains and fashion. The fascinating Old
Harbour (Kaleici) make this an irresistible location
for eager shoppers, while the modern shopping
malls make life easier for those on tight schedule. |
| Drinking
Water |
The
tap water in the rooms is purified and is drinkable.
However it is highly recommended to drink bottled
water for its taste. |
| Communications |
Turkey
has a highly sophisticated communication system.
In addition to the usual postal and telephone
services, GSM telephones can be used on the Turkish
Telecom, Aycell, Turkcell, Telsim and Aria networks,
which have international roaming agreements with
nearly all countries in the world. Country code
for Turkey is 90 and for Antalya 242. |
| Dining |
The
Turkish Cuisine is said to be one of the best
in the world. Antalya has many alternatives to
offer from Chinese to Italian and of course traditional
Turkish Cuisine. Choose from modern and elegant
restaurants or a smaller ones filled with local
colour and flavour. |
